  Hello All, This past week was busy and exciting! I received my first shipment of author copies for the new book Inanna Swynford – Pirate Hunter. I have signed a couple of my proof copies but the first signed copy of an official release copy went to The Antilles Trading Company, & Pirate Museum in Cocoa Village FL. Ashley who basically runs the place, was a big help while doing some research and getting ideas for our photoshoot for the cover. This signed copy was a thank you for the Antilles crew! This is the picture for this week’s blog. Also this past week I completed and published the audio version for the fourth book in the Project Umschreiben series, A Sparrow Returns . The best news this week was that my wonderful wife Deb’s heart is just fine and the Cardiologist believes her chest pains were just anxiety with everything she has gone through recently. Greetings and Welcome to Summer, Hope everyone is doing great as we officially kick off the summer season. Before I get to the Audio Book Review, I will give a little update on what has been happening around here. First nothing new on the Agent search, but I also have not approached anyone else since sending the full request to the gentleman I met at the writers workshop. I really enjoyed our brief conversation and when he was on a discussion panel he very much impressed me. I just had that feeling we might be a good match. I do know for success both Agent and Author need to link on a personal level. I continue to write and work on the Pirate story I plan to self-publish when it is ready. I figure it will be of a Novella size but you never know where the muse will take me. Also I have a short story in a contest that I am waiting to see how I do.   Hello Everyone, First I want to say it is sad what is happening in our nation and around the world currently.  In all truth it brings back memories of my youth as it is like the 70’s all over again. Except the music now days isn’t even close to as good as back then.  As for an audio book review I am still working on the Pirates of Aletharia, almost done so a review next week! Now this past week I filled a bucket list item! Since I entered the Audio Recording and Production world back in 1989 I have always wanted to attend the NAMM show and InfoComm. This past week I attended InfoComm in Orlando at the Orange County Convention center. Wow that place is big! I know, I walked it from end to end at least a dozen times as we had scheduled meetings at certain vendors and then we would wander on our own, but when we would link back up we were always opposite ends. Hello, Welcome to Wally’s weekly BLOG! This week I thought I would share a little about my past from the world of Recording & Audio Visual events. For those who are just joining us, this is what my alter ego does for a living, or day job as we call it. For starters I embarked on this path back in 1989, where I apprenticed in a recording studio called The Tracking Station. After a year as an apprentice under Robert Troy, musician, producer, audio engineer, and great guitarist. Where he taught me more than you can imagine, including what is now the old fashion way because of digital, I was editing reel to reel tape with a grease pencil and a razor blade. I worked on and off for a year at the studio.
