Anachronist: A TIme Travel Adventure

 

Hello Fans,

This past week really didn’t see anything exciting go on except getting ready for the Moon Launch on April 1st. (Fingers Crossed) The picture for this week is of my parents who both passed many years ago now but still miss them every day. Wish my mother had been able to know our boys but she left us for the next chapter way back in 1995, years before Deb and I even married. Pops though hung around till 2009 and this weekend he would have been 97. Love and miss you! 

Alright as I promised last week, here is my review of  Anachronist: A Time Travel Adventure the Infinity Engines Book 1, by Andrew Hastie.  I will start with; this was a wonderful book narrated by Rupert Degas. Ruperts character voicings was excellent and his ability to make you feel the intensity of the moment was extraordinary. 

The adventure begins with a young man putting in his community service time for his civil infractions shall we say. He gets into trouble it seems at every turn and sometimes it is his fault and other times just wrong place right time! I say right time as this is a time travel book with lots of flipping in and out of different time frames. This book gives you a solid introduction to multiple factions involved with the travel of time and history. I fully enjoyed the explanations of time travel mixing multiple theories’ that people discuss. The world building was excellent as you could easily picture everything in your mind. The story completed yet still left you with questions and a solid cliffhanger ending. I can say without a doubt I will be doing the next book in the series before long. This audiobook is just under twelve hours long pushing my normal comfort zone but it was worth the time. Thank you Andrew for a great adventure, five stars all the way!

  Hello Me Maties, This past week was spent continuing to promote the new book  Times Castaway Book One Blackbeard’s Treasure . I am pleased to say that this book has had readers/listeners every single day for over a week now. The Rattler & Anniversary

  Howdy,   Well this week we will officially say goodbye to Summer. This means cooler weather is on the way. For us here in the south this is a good thing as we will return to great temps and hopefully dryer sky’s. For those in the north get that winter coat out and check your car battery for cold cranking and all the other things required to prep for winter.   Besides the end of Summer this week Monday also brings another anniversary for Deb and I. Monday the 21 st  we hit 27 years since we said, “I DO!” I will not sugar coat it as it has not always been smooth sailing and like any relationship we have hit bumps and potholes in the road but my wife is still my best friend and the love of my life. We will keep moving forward, Love you Deb! The Immortal Sword Second Screening

  Hello Me Mates, This past week saw yet another steady week with the day job and a couple friends losing family members unexpectedly. I offer my condolences to them and yet again a reminder to always make use of the time we have together and don’t put off till tomorrow what you can do today.  Like always for most book’s sales are down this month and this is very common as July is considered a bad month for book sales. People like us are busy enjoying outside activities and even though many are still reading, history and studies show the amount is way lower in July and August. Hey, I still have sales so I consider this a good thing.  I am continuing to work on book two of Times Castaway. As I make this run through where I clean up sentence structure and wordings I find even myself pulled in making it difficult at times as my mind begins to wander and things get added.
